Kim Jong Un, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), is still leading the DPRK people with huge enthusiasm despite his recent health problems, the Korean Central Television (KCTV) reported Friday.
A short video clip on KCTV showing Kim's latest on-site inspection said Kim is still busy leading the DPRK people with enormous enthusiasm, despite his recent health problems, "which greatly inspired the DPRK people and army."
This was the first time for the DPRK's state media to admit Kim's health problems since his last public appearance on Sept. 3 when he watched a performance of new works by the Moranbong Band together with his wife Ri Sol Ju.
Yet the official media did not detail what health issues Kim is facing.
On Thursday, the DPRK convened the second session of the 13th Supreme People's Assembly, the country's top legislative body, but Kim as the top leader was not present at the meeting, the first time since he took power, triggering widespread speculation over his absence.
