HOHHOT, China, Aug. 3 -- Hosts China beat Greece 86-67 on Sunday in their third warm-up game for the women's basketball worlds in Turkey in September.
China won 73-57 and 84-65 in the first two games.
Three-pointer played the key role in today's win as China made 13 from all 28 attempts.
China opened the game with a three-pointer by Gao Song, and three pointers helped China lead the first quarter by eight points.
The second quarter witnessed a 7-1 run for China and a 9-0 for Greece. China led just one point at the halftime.
Two three-pointers by Cheng Feng and Lu Wen gifted China a flying start of the second half, which made Greece coach call a time-out immediately. Chen Xiaojia caught a big three by the end of the third quarter to ensure China's double-digit lead.
Two three-pointers by Shao Ting and Chen Xiaojia helped China ease to the win in the fourth quarter.
