BEIJING, Aug. 1 -- Former vice general manager of Guizhou Water Investment Group Zhang Xianshu is under investigation for allegedly taking bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate said Friday.
The decision was made by the People's Procuratorate of Guizhou Province, which assigned the People's Procuratorate of Guiyang City to probe the case and take "coercive measures" against Zhang.
According to China's criminal procedure law, the coercive measures include summons by force, bail, residential surveillance, detention and arrest. The procuratorate did not specify which measures have been taken in the case.
