Man builds seaworthy model aircraft carrier equipped with catapults

After one year of hard work, Zhang Guoguang, from Xiangyang City of central China's Hubei Province, finished building a model of an aircraft carrier and has successfully completed water trial. The model is two meters long and weights 50 kilograms. It is 1:200 scale and mainly made of fagoted iron.

Equipped with arresting cables and catapults, the model aircraft carrier has eight planes on the deck and they can take off and land. The aircraft's hull number is 59 because he is 59 years old this year. He plans to display the model to other cities.
