Get to know China's national pole dancing team

The World Pole Dance Championships 2014 closed in London on Feb. 1, 2014. The "National team" of China made history by winning a number of prizes including Best Performance of male category and Best Costume of female category.

But the "National Team" is neither established by the Chinese Dancers Association nor by the China Dancing Association. It was founded by Yuan Biao, a dance studio owner in Tianjin, in October 2012. The team has not got approval from the national authority, so the members have to cover the cost of attending the championships themselves.
