The 25th Taiwan Lantern Festival kicked off on Feb. 14, 2014 in Nantou county in central Taiwan. The master lantern "galloping steed", made of 200 thousand LED lights, is 23 meters high and the tallest lantern ever shown. There are 21 areas in the show including displays from Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian and Jilin provinces. Since the Lantern Festival of 2014 meets Valentine's Day this year, there is an area named "love you forever" dedicated to romantic valentine lanterns.
