GUIYANG, Jan. 7 -- All four miners trapped underground since a coal-mine gas burst in southwest China's Guizhou Province on Saturday have been confirmed dead, local authorities said on Tuesday.
By 2:10 a.m. on Tuesday, rescuers had found the miners' bodies in the pit of the coal mine in Qinglong County, according to the on-site rescue headquarters.
The accident took place at 11:29 a.m. on Saturday in the Zhongtian Coal Mine, when 24 miners were working underground.
Twenty miners have been rescued and face no risk to their lives.
