13 trapped in N China coal mine accident

Thirteen workers were trapped underground after a coal mine in north China's Shanxi Province was flooded early Saturday morning, said the coal mine's parent company.

The accident occurred at 3:10 a.m. at Zhengsheng Coal Mine of Shanxi Coking Coal Group Co., Ltd. in Fenyang City.

Rescue work is underway, the company said.
