A 120-day-old panda - the first one to be born in southern China's Guangdong Province - meets the public on Nov. 27 at the Panda Home built especially for the baby and her mother. The home, located in the Guangzhou-based Chimelong Safari Park, is divided into two parts, both indoors and outdoors, with all necessary and functional facilities readily available. An ice-making machine adjusts the temperature and humidity of the area to be optimal for the pandas' living conditions. Locals can now take a more up-close and personal look at the exceptional animal, which is dubbed "China's national treasure." (Photo/CNS) |
