On Oct. 20, 2013, some university students held a parade in the downtown area of Taiyuan, capital of northwest China's Shanxi province, to call for crackdown on child trafficking. A 9-year-old girl named Yan Jiaxin went missing after school in Qingxu county on Sept. 24, 2013, which was the latest child trafficking case in the area. By the parade, the students volunteers hoped to raise the public's awareness of anti-trafficking and called for the public to provide the anxious parents with clues of the lost children.
