A dog named Doudou that waited 20 days at the spot where her owner jumped to his death, was taken in by a woman surnamed Wang Monday, the Legal Mirror reported Tuesday.

Five-year-old Doudou was owned by a man surnamed Zhang in his 60s, who committed suicide on February 14 after quarreling with his family.

Zhang's family left taking two other dogs, but leaving Doudou behind.

Wang said her family was moved by the dog, and promised to treat her well.
