Shenyang program to help lost seniors get home

Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, is promoting a "Yellow Wrist Strap Campaign" to help seniors 70 and older who become lost.

The silicone strap has a unique serial number related to the wearer's personal information on file with police. The information includes telephone numbers and the family address. Local authorities believe this may help lost seniors get home.

The Shenyang Public Security Bureau, China Mobile Communications Corp Liaoning's Shenyang branch jointly launched the social public service.
