Kazakhstan's Cinema Week kicks off in Beijing

Beijing, April 18 (People's Daily Online) The opening ceremony of Kazakhstan's Cinema Week was held in Beijing Broadway Cinema on Wednesday evening, April 17, 2013. Zhang Pimin, Deputy Secretary of the State General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of PRC, La Peikang, Deputy Director of the Film Bureau of the State General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of PRC, Kazakhstan Ambassador to China Nurlan Ermekbaev, President of Shaken Aimanov Kazakhfilm JSC Ermek Amanshaev, and cast members of six Kazakhstan films attended the ceremony.

The appearance of Kazakhstan film stars brought an upsurge for the opening ceremony. Besides, two young Kazakhstan artists offered wonderful Dombira performance for the audience. Chinese actor Wang Xuebing was selected as the ambassador for the Kazakhstan's Cinema Week.
