Recently, China style becomes a popular choice of word. It is frequently used in "China style queue jumping", "China style pension", "China style Spring Festival travel rush", among others. When carefully examined, many of these phrases are mixed with a sense of jest and introspection, which more or less reflects Chinese people's anxiety toward reality and cultural consciousness.
Smile in China style
On Jan.26, Li Na lost to Victoria Azarenka in the finals of the Australian Open because of injury. Fate has made a joke about the girl who originally wanted to win a grand slam as a seventh wedding anniversary gift for her husband. Although we saw her filled with tears at the end of the game, her smile the moment she stood on the podium was worthy of the remembrance forever by the people who love sports, and made many Chinese people feel proud as well as pitiful.
That is Li Na's smile, the China style smile, which contains the objection to fate and the interpretation of strong will.
Life story in China style
16 years ago, Zhao Wei, whose family live in Yuantou village, Linyi city, Shanxi province would never have imagined that his future experience would become something a number of foreign companies thronged to make into a film.
Zhao was cheated 300,000 yuan by a Chinese-American businessman in the name of "buying shares" 16 years ago. He traveled 10,000 miles all alone all the way from China to Los Angeles to collect the debt. Unfortunately, he was cheated again and became a vagrant. However, no one would have expected, the man who did not know a single English word back then would after many struggles became a private detective specialized in collecting debts for the cheated victims.
This China style inspirational life story is precious not only because of the counterattack at the desperate situation, but more importantly because he did not lose belief toward the world after having witnessed many blackest deeds, but chose to express his dissatisfaction with human evil in warm manner: to help the weak and exert justice for them.
The inspirational story of Zhao Wei is a typical China style inspirational life story full of positive energy.
Responsibility in China style
Different people have different interpretations of the word responsibility. On the morning of Jan. 13, Wei Lizhong was driving a passenger bus with 41 passengers onboard. While travelling, he suffered a sudden cerebral hemorrhage. When he was about to lose consciousness, he did not release the steering wheel, but steadily pulled over the bus by the side of the road. Wei has passed away and we have no way to know what kind of strength supported him to fulfill a driver's responsibility at the last minute. What we can be sure is that many ordinary people have emerged following the most beautiful drivers and the most beautiful teachers.
It is exactly such ordinary people on the most commonplace posts that have interpreted the Chinese style responsibility with the most honorable strength.
