A power grid construction came to the end in Yushu recently which could ease local electricity shortage. The 330-kv project includes 800-km-long wires and substations, and a test run will start next month. Yushu had its isolated grid severely damaged in the magnitude 7.1 earthquake in April 2010, claiming 2,698 lives and injuring over 12,000. (Xinhua/Wang Bo)
