Chinese stocks open higher Friday

BEIJING, April 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,201.12 points, up 0.16 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,910.43, up 0.25 percent.
