A source with Shanghai Municipal People's Prosecution Service said Yan took about 200,000 yuan ($32,000) in bribes from suppliers of facilities including hardware and software at the SFE. Yan is still under investigation. Yan is responsible for information technology systems and works as chief engineer at the exchange. Zhang Guoyuan, a senior official with the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange has also been detained on suspicion of economic crimes, according to Caixin.com, a financial news website.
