Chinese search engine firm Jike on Thursday denied reports that it is in talks with Web security provider Qihoo 360 Technology Co Ltd to receive investment from Qihoo. "Our cooperation with Qihoo remains in the product area, no financial affairs are involved," Jike said in an e-mailed reply to China Daily. Jike and Qihoo jointly announced plans on Thursday to provide information about counterfeit medicines released by authorities. After that, reports emerged saying that Qihoo may invest in Jike, in a bid to challenge Baidu Inc, the nation's dominant search engine.
