Trade with Gulf grows

The bilateral trade between China and Gulf Arab states amounted to $155 billion in 2012, an increase of 15.9 percent year-on-year and accounting for about 70 percent of trade between China and Arab countries, xinhuanet.com reported Tuesday.

Saudi Arabia remains China's largest trade partner in West Asia and Africa, with bilateral trade growing 13.9 percent to $73.3 billion in 2012.
