Kweichou Moutai Co, China's biggest baijiu liquor producer in terms of market value, said Thursday its net profits in 2012 are estimated to surge 50 percent compared to a year earlier.
The profit rise is attributable to an increase in both its sale volume and its prices, the liquor producer said in a filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
This, however, compares to the company's profit increase of 58.62 percent during the first three quarters of 2012.
