Those teeing it up at the Players were, more than likely, pretty solid players as kids. But I bet when they were three years old very few, if any, had anything on this next girl we're about to meet. Our Peter Koveos introduces us now to Riley Adkins a golfing prodigy with an attitude to match her impressive skillset.




With each hit little Riley Adkins becomes more focused just ask her mom. She is a little more than three years old but she has captured plenty of local attention -- and has been a regular on the golf course for half of her her young life.

"Since she was one-and-a-half-years-old. We got here a little practice set, and she has been practicing ever since." Chris Adkins Father of golf prodigy said.

She is also a good teacher -- as she tries to teach this local reporter.

Riley: "You missed it! You missed it!"

Vickers: "What did I do wrong?"

Riley: "You picked your head up."

Vickers: "Alright, show me one more time."

Riley: "You can't miss another one, because I am not going to put you another one one."

She is a tough cookie. But did improve her new pupil's game.

The enjoyment of the game is something the family shares -- and hopefully that nurtures a love for the game that will last -- and then maybe this little girl with a powerful swing will be heard from again in the future.
