HOUSTON, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Ten people were hurt when a suspected drunken driver rammed his pickup truck into an SUV in the U.S. city of Dallas on Monday, local media reported.
The accident happened as the truck driver allegedly ran a red light at an intersection and hit the SUV, TV ABC13 reported.
Three adults and six children in the SUV as well as the truck driver were injured. Police said several youngsters were ejected from their vehicle.
All of the injured have been transported to local hospitals. It's not immediately known if any of them is in serious condition.
Police said the truck driver could face a variety of charges.
