NEW YORK, June 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted Crete, Greece at 21:39:09 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 40.00 km, was initially determined to be at 34.5118 degrees north latitude and 25.0915 degrees east longitude.
