1 dead, 36 missing in shipwreck in C. Philippines

MANILA, June 14 (Xinhua) -- One person was confirmed dead and 36 others are missing when a cargo ship carrying nearly 60 passengers and crew sank off Masbate province in central Philippines early Friday, local media reported.
