6.0-magnitude quake hits off east of Kamchatka Peninsula: CENC

BEIJING, March 24 (Xinhua) -- A 6.0-magnitude quake jolted off the east coast of Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia, at 12:18 p.m. Sunday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was monitored at 50.7 degrees north latitude and 160.1 degrees east longitude, the center said.
