ANKARA, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- An explosion occurred at a galvanization plant in the province of Gaziantep in southeastern Turkey killed six people and wounded 15 others on Wednesday, private Dogan news agency reported.
The injured are not in critical condition, according to the report.
Gaziantep metropolitan mayor was quoted as saying that rescue works were continuing at the mid-sized factory.
The reason for the explosion remains unknown.
