| 2011 Norway attacks The first attack is a car bomb explosion near the executive government quarter of Norway in Oslo, on July 22 2011. The explosion killed eight people. The second attack occurred less than two hours later at a summer camp on the island of Utøya. Wearing a homemade police uniform, Anders Breivik gained access to the island.
