China pursues mutual beneficial, win-win, and open strategies
The world is moving toward economic globalization, and a country’s prosperity or decay is related to other countries. Wang Yi said China will keep sustained and health development; in addition to improve internal strength, it is important to keep interacting with other countries; China will continue to develop with other countries and regions in international economic relation that features mutual benefit, mutual support and common development.
“The confidence in the successes of China’s reform comes from its win-win strategy of opening-up,” Wang Yi said. China’s reform is carried out in parallel with the opening-up. Through reform, we have increased China’s openness, which, in turn, has promoted China’s reform. China’s reform will bring more benefits to the world; at the same time China will continue to draw impetus to its reform from the world.
China has long upheld mutually beneficial and win-win strategy, and made great contribution to world economic growth and the growth of international trade. China will stick to the principle of equality and mutual benefit, to eliminate the trade barriers, and to promote the establishment of a global multilateral trading system which is open, just, rational and non discriminatory, so that every country will be benefited from trade.
Yao Shujie, professor of economics at the University of Nottingham, said in short term, China must try to clear the trade fictions and improve the quality of foreign capital inflow; for long-term purpose, China should speed up the multipolarization in trade zones, promote bilateral and multilateral free trade; with increased China’s foreign investment, China should not only to seek strategic resource, market and technology, but to enhance commercial intercourse with other countries in order to improve China’s status in global economies.
