GUANGZHOU, Dec. 15 -- Fire was raging in a high-rise building in downtown Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, on Sunday night.
Huge clouds of black smoke kept belching from the building on the Qiyi Road, which caught fire at 9:30 p.m., Xinhua reporters at the site said. Casualties remained unknown.
Several fire engines have arrived at the site trying to put out the blaze.
