A Chinese dough modeling master and his figurines (9)

Zhang Hongming, 33, started his artistic career in dough modeling nine years ago after he was laid off from a grain depot in northeast China's Jilin province. His learned the skill from a street craftsman in 1990s; now he is already a dough modeling master and has his own business brand; his work "Changchun's celebrities" was collected by the local museum. Zhang said he hopes his works could be more vivid, folksier and more international, so that more people will appreciate the artistic charm of dough modeling.
