The municipality of Coyuca de Benitez, in the Costa Grande region, is one of the most severely affected by thunderstorm, overflowed rivers and floods after the passing of "Manuel". On Sept. 18, 2013 the overflowed river collapsed an 800 m long bridge and flooded entire towns, according to local press reports.
