This is a memorial museum in Oswiecim, which consists of two parts: Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. It focuses on preserving and displaying the things that remain from the camp in order to show the crimes of Nazis, as well as study the history of the camp. It collected about 110 thousand shoes, 3,800 suitcases -- 2,100 of which bear the names of their owners -- over 6 thousand works of art and 350 striped camp garments.
