Wang, 80, is a native Beijinger living in a big family. She goes to sell her hand-made embroider shoes and sandbags in the square of Houhai in the sunny days. Wang is a little deaf, which has affected some of her business. She earns only 5 yuan a day the most. However, she said what she enjoys the most is to watch the diverse people in Houhai.
