Marc Cecillon: former French rugby captain, known as "The Quiet Man" who played both number 8 and flanker, was jailed for 20 years in 2008 for shooting his wife dead while drunk at a family gathering in 2004. The sentence was reduced to 14 years on appeal and Cecillon was paroled in 2011.
