Disgruntled singing seniors refunded (3)

The scheduled contest at the Great Hall could have gone ahead successfully, said Zhao, if it were not for some disruptive seniors who incited the trouble.

"Some delegations complained about the poor accommodation and services provided and refused to perform, and this led to the chaos," said Zhao.

Zhao said this is the first time they handed their arrangements to a tourist agency which definitely did not arrange things well. She did not say which tour agency was responsible.

"They [complaining seniors] have crossed the line. They were already in the Great Hall, and could have performed," said Zhao.

Due to the chaos, Zhao said the Great Hall withdrew authorization for them to organize the event this year.
