10,000-metric ton-class river-sea vessel completes maiden voyage to Chongqing

Carrying over 5,000 metric tons of soybeans, departed from Zhoushan Port in east China's Zhejiang Province on April 24, 2024. It traveled via the Chongqing-Zhoushan river-sea direct route, directly linking the municipality in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River with the sea.
With a maximum capacity of 9,832 metric tons, the ship is 130 meters long, 16.20 meters wide, and 8.5 meters deep with a design draft of 6.1 meters.
