C. China conference to focus on global development, security

CHANGSHA, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- The second conference of the Global Economic Development and Security Forum of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) opened in Changsha, capital city of central China's Hunan Province, on Sunday.
With the theme of "Global Development, Shared Security," the event will last three days.
More than 30 activities, including the opening ceremony, sub-forums, roundtables and expositions are scheduled to take place. Government officials, heads of international organizations, business representatives and scholars will gather to share their views on cutting-edge issues in global development and security, such as food security, financial security and energy security.
The conference is co-hosted by the BFA and the Hunan provincial people's government. The first Global Economic Development and Security Forum of the Boao Forum for Asia was held in Changsha in 2021.
