China to host dual theater festivals in November

BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- The domestically-focused 8th China Campus Theater Festival and the 27th BeSeTo Theater Festival, which gathers productions from both home and abroad, will run concurrently from Nov. 11 to 30 in the southern Chinese metropolis of Shenzhen, said the China Theater Association, organizer of the events.

The China Campus Theater Festival, which is held every two years, will feature 19 productions spanning various theatrical styles including drama, traditional Chinese opera, musicals, children's theater, and puppetry.

A total of 12 productions from countries including China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Georgia, and Bulgaria will be showcased at this year's BeSeTo Theater Festival.

In addition to the performances, the BeSeTo event will also host a forum for people involved in the international theater industry, according to the organizer.
