Chongming-Qidong Yangtze River railway bridge under construction in Jiangsu

With a span of 400 meters, the 4.09-kilometer-long Chongming-Qidong rail-road Yangtze River bridge is a project of the high-speed railway from Shanghai to Nanjing and Hefei. The bridge will have a six-lane expressway with designed speeds of 100 kilometers per hour on the upper deck and four rail tracks on the lower level with designed speeds of 250 kilometers per hour.
