China's top legislature hears reports on deliberation results of drafts, proposals

BEIJING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislature on Tuesday heard reports on the deliberation results of relevant drafts and proposals.
These reports were tabled at the third meeting of the Council of Chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), which was presided over by Zhao Leji, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.
The meeting heard reports on suggested changes to draft revisions of the Counter-Espionage Law and the draft law on ecological conservation on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, as well as the results of deliberations on draft revisions to the codes of conduct for senior Chinese lawmakers. Relevant revised drafts were deliberated at the meeting.
The meeting also heard reports on deliberations on draft lists for chairperson, vice chairpersons and members of the credentials committee of the NPC Standing Committee, as well as proposals regarding appointments and removals.
The meeting adopted the decision to submit the revised drafts to the ongoing NPC Standing Committee session for further deliberation.
