TIANJIN, April 13 (Xinhua) -- North China's port city of Tianjin reported a total cross-border e-commerce foreign trade volume of over 2.4 billion yuan (about 350 million U.S. dollars) via its comprehensive service platform in the first three months of 2023, up 4 percent year on year, according to the municipal commission of commerce.

During the period, more than 1.5 billion yuan of export sales were declared via the city's official cross-border e-commerce comprehensive service platform, an increase of 9.6 percent year on year, the commission added.

The commission has vowed to further promote the construction of the China (Tianjin) cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone, explore more innovative trade facilitation measures and integrated business models, and support more foreign trade enterprises in traditional industries and manufacturing companies looking to expand their markets via cross-border e-commerce trade.
