As a hitching device operator, Ramila Dabyl's duty is to guarantee the successful take-off and safe landing of carrier-based aircraft.
When the J-15 fighter jet, which is based on the carrier, is about to land, Ramila Dabyl quickly runs toward the aircraft while carrying a set of tethers that weigh about 40 kilograms in total. She then performs a set of movements to tether the aircraft to the ground. Before the aircraft takes off, she unties it.
This job was quite a challenge for her at the beginning, as she only weighs about 50 kg. "Because I'm slim, people doubted my capabilities," Ramila Dabyl recalled. However, the young woman finally proved herself capable of doing the job like a male soldier.

In 2021, Ramila Dabyl became the only female dispatcher on the aircraft carrier after receiving training and passing the assessment.
Before taking this job, she had worked as a radar soldier and a phone operator on the same aircraft carrier.
Before the J-15 fighter jet takes off, the dispatch department gets very busy.
The flight deck for the aircraft is notorious for being one of the most dangerous workplaces in the world. The aircraft's continuous roar and its turbulent wake, especially the massive vibration, bring challenges to the soldiers trying to ensure the safety of the deck.

Nevertheless, Ramila Dabyl said she wants to face these challenges no matter how difficult they are.
"The moment I became a soldier, I was ready to go to the battlefield. I want to try every job on the carrier and take every risk and challenge," the young soldier insisted.
