Up to now, the planting area of coffee in Pu’er City reaches 780,000 mu, accounting for 48.8% of the national area of 1.6 million mu, and 52.1% of the planting area in Yunnan Province with the number of 1.497 million mu. The output of coffee beans in Pu’er City reached 58,000 tons, accounting for 42.1% of the national output of 137,900 tons, and 44.27% of the output in Yunnan Province with the number of 131,000 tons. The per capita income of coffee farmers from coffee in Pu’er City has reached 3836 yuan.
