BEIJING, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- China will hold high the banner of peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit, according to a communique released Thursday after the fifth plenary session of the 19th Communist Party of China Central Committee.

Efforts must be made to create a favorable external environment, and promote the building of a new type of international relations and a community with a shared future for humanity, says the communique.
