5.3-magnitude quake hits Sand Point of U.S. Alaska: USGS

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 47 km SSE of Sand Point in U.S. state of Alaska at 19:45:59 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 30.0 km, was initially determined to be at 54.93 degrees north latitude and 160.267 degrees west longitude.
