On January 9, the Construction Commencement Ceremony of Pu'er Tea Rehabilitation and Elderly Care Town in Overseas Chinese Town & Railway Project was held in Pu'er Industrial Park.

The total planning area of Pu'er Tea Rehabilitation and Elderly Care Town in Overseas Chinese Town is about 10,000 mu. The project is constructed in three phases. It aims at building itself into a large and comprehensive cultural tourism and rehabilitation and elderly care development project which has influences in the world.
