CHENGDU, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- The Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone in southwest China's Sichuan Province and Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) in the UAE have established a partnership to boost the bilateral trade cooperation between China and the UAE.
An MoU was also signed between the Chengdu hi-tech Zone, one of China's world-class high-tech zone parks, and DMCC, also the world's flagship free zone on commodities trade and enterprises, at the China-UAE Conference on Islamic Banking and Finance (CUCIBF) starting on Tuesday.
"The establishment of the partnership will provide a driving force for the global development of enterprises in the two parks," said Chen Hongtao, deputy director of the Chengdu Hi-tech Zone Management Committee.
The two parks will also discuss the establishment of the Chengdu-Dubai Financial Center, an international park with financial and trade industries as its core, said Chen.
