Participating editors and journalists attending the recently concluded second Belt and Road News Networks (BRNN) media workshop, were amazed by the scale and fast development of the high-tech industry and rows of high-rise buildings, after taking a tour around the Jiangbei New Area in Nanjing, capital of east China’s Jiangsu Province.
Kemar Mashanlo, Reviewer of International News Agency KazTAG, pays close attention to China’s AI technology and robotics.
“Visiting the Nanjing Intelligent Manufacturing Research Inc. was a good opportunity to collect materials for an in-depth coverage and know more about China’s AI technology,” said Mashanlo.
During their stay in Nanjing, the group also visited the Gene Mansion, built in October 2016. With 50 sets of gene test equipment, it is among the first batch of health data science centers in China and the pilot projects in the industrial park.
Various types of cutting-edge technology industries are convened in the Jiangbei New Area. Ruslan Kenjaev, coordinator of the Khalksuzi and Narodnoeslovo newspapers, told People’s Daily that the Jiangbei New Area will surely jump-start the economic growth for the surrounding areas.
According to China’s national innovation-driven development strategy outline, the Jiangbei New Area will make full use in the advantage of being a state-level new area and a free trade zone, focus on the development of science and technology, as well as industrial integration in the aim of transforming into a new financial center and a city known for chips and genes.
“I can feel the dynamism of innovation of historical city Nanjing. Here is full of creativity and such a spirit will lead a fast progress on the development of high-tech industry,” said Aziz Mamedov, Chief correspondent of Azerbaijan State News Agency.
