TOKYO, June 25 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks opened almost flat on Tuesday as investors adopted a wait-and-see mood ahead of the upcoming Group of 20 Summit.
As of 9:15 a.m. local time, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average fell 24.68 points, or 0.12 percent, from Monday to 21,261.31.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, was up 1.60 points, or 0.10 percent, at 1,549.34.
Land transport and food issues comprised those that rebounded the most in the opening minutes after the morning bell.
