Athletes from Pu’er Win Two Gold Medals

Three students from Pu’er Sports Vocational High School, namely Zhu Xiaoqiang, Peng Li, and Wang Kaiming, represented Yunnan Province at the finals of walking race organized as a part of the Duo Wei Cup: 2nd National Youth Games on June 1.

Zhu Xiaoqiang won the men’s Group A championship in the 10km walking race. This was the first gold medal won by Yunnan’s delegation. Meanwhile, Peng Li won the women’s Group B individual championship in the 5,000m walking race.
